Ballot Drop-Off Sites (2024)

The Clerk's Office must receive your absentee in time to deliver it to your polling place on Election Day. If returning your ballot through the mail, we recommend you mail it at least one week before Election Day.

Under the Voting Rights Act, voters who need help mailing or delivering their ballot due to a disability may get help from a person of their choice. The person providing help may not be the voter's employer, agent of the voter's employer, or officer or agent of the voter's union. Otherwise, voters must mail or deliver their own absentee ballot.

If you prefer to return your absentee in person, here are your options:

Fire Station 1 Ballot Drop Box

316 W Dayton St
Box is located just east of the main driveway. Drop boxes will be available until 5 p.m. the day before the election.
Fire Station 2 Ballot Drop Box

421 Grand Canyon Dr
Box is located on west side of Grand Teton Pkwy before the station's back driveway. Drop boxes will be available until 5 p.m. the day before the election.
Fire Station 3 Ballot Drop Box

1217 Williamson St
Box is located in small garden just outside station front door. Walk-up traffic only. Drop boxes will be available until 5 p.m. the day before the election.
Fire Station 4 Ballot Drop Box

1437 Monroe St
Box is located just east of driveway right across from the badger at Camp Randall. Just beneath the Madison: Solar America City sign. Drop boxes will be available until 5 p.m. the day before the election.

Box is located on Atlas Ave between the bus stop and the station's back driveway. Drop boxes will be available until 5 p.m. the day before the election.

Box is located behind station on west side of Perry St just south of Madison College driveway. Drop boxes will be available until 5 p.m. the day before the election.

Box is located in island of the circle drive near the park shelter. Drop boxes will be available until 5 p.m. the day before the election.

Box is located east of station on east side of Parkside Dr. Drop boxes will be available until 5 p.m. the day before the election.

Box is located behind station on west side of Meadow Ln. Drop boxes will be available until 5 p.m. the day before the election.

Box is located behind station on east side of Crossing Pl between station driveway and intersection of Crossing Pl and Nelson Rd. Drop boxes will be available until 5 p.m. the day before the election.

Box is located just north of station on South Point Rd near intersection of South Point Rd and Briar Haven Dr. Drop boxes will be available until 5 p.m. the day before the election.
