Unscrew the black end cap and remove the cap and filter cage from the machine. Pop the end cap off the old filter cage by rotating it 90 degrees and pull - it snaps onoff. Fit the new rubber seal to the filter cage and clip the black end cap back in place. Once assembled insert into the machine and tighten until a watertight seal is achieved.
Pliers help to tighten the end cap - the thread plastic on plastic is a poor design prone to damage through over tightening when trying to stop water leaks from worn seals. Weird stuff from the washing machine collects down here from pockets and can jam in the filter cage making it impossible to remove without damaging.

If the door cannot open - remove the top of the machine, to access the door latch use a flat head screwdriver to disengage the door, once the door has opened the door handle assy can be removed from the door, please be careful of the pins holding the handle that may come loose and must be reinstalled correctly, once the new handle is installed then proceed to reassemble the door.
Tools Required:
Phillips and flat head screwdriver

Comments:
Simple to fit the new pcb just plug the wiring back onto the connectors (you cant get them wrong), hold the unit in place by the 3 locating knobs on the back of the pcb into the holes in the back plate of the machine while you screw the 2 holding screws into position. You will find that when you connect up the machine and turn the power on the machine will finish off the cycle it couldnt do when it broke down as mine had.
Tools Required:
Just a phillips head screwdriver
